Russco Training Services, a division of Russco Marketing Inc. was established in 1996 by current President and C.E.O, Blair Russell. Russco’s initial business focused heavily on health and safety training in the automotive parts manufacturing sector in Southwestern Ontario. Over twenty years of growth and development, Russco has diversified its skills, qualifications and workforce to provide more training programs, as well as expand into the construction and municipal fields. Russco provides health and safety consulting on a contract basis to construction companies, skilled trades organizations and municipalities.
All work completed by Russco is done at the client’s place of business. We come to your facility to complete theoretical training based on the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable regulations for your organization’s sector (Reg. 851 Industrial/ Reg. 213 Construction) as well as CSA Standards and workplace specific requirements. All training programs have a written testing portion to verify that all learners understood the material sufficiently. We complete practical training and evaluations on-site immediately following completion of the theoretical program. We believe it is important for workers to be trained on the specific equipment that they will be required to use in the workplace. Upon successful completion of both theory and practical portions of the training program, workers and employers will be provided with certificates and wallet cards to be used as proof of training.
Russco Training Services is insured through the WSIB and carries liability as well as E&O insurances. All trainers are First-Aid, JH&SC Part 1&2 certified in addition to program specific training and expertise. These documents are provided to any client who requests them.
